Obtaining a personalized license plate in Nebraska is a breeze. Simply visit the state's official governmental website, download a personalized license plate application, complete it, mail it and receive the personalized license plate that showcases your interest, hobbies or personality.

  1. Step 1

    Log on to Nebraska's official governmental website at Nebraska.gov.

  2. Step 2

    Click on "Motor Vehicles," "Vehicle Plates and Permits" and "Specialty Plates."

  3. Step 3

    Read over the descriptions of the personalized plates offered by the state of Nebraska. Note rules for display and eligibility requirements, if applicable.

  4. Step 4

    Choose a personalized license plate.

  5. Step 5

    Download the application corresponding to the personalized license you are interested in.

  6. Step 6
