You or someone you love may find yourself with a coiffure that is impervious to combs, water, fingers, even bullets. Removing the culprit may prove difficult, but put down the buzz clippers. By following these steps, you can easily remove Murray's Pomade from hair.
Pour a generous amount of olive oil into the palm of your hand and work through the entire head of hair.
Massage the oil into the hair. This will help break down the waxy state of the pomade. Do this until the hair stops being resistant to fingers, combs, profanity, etc.
Rinse the olive oil out using hot water.
Wash the hair using liberal amounts of dishwashing liquid. Rinse with hot water.
Repeat the dish liquid cycle if necessary (FYI: It will be necessary).
Rinse hair and check status. If there is no evidence of greasiness or waxiness, feel free to shampoo and condition as usual. This step can be skipped, but some people find that a washing with grease-cutting dish soap can leave the hair dry.
Tip
The same dishwashing liquid can also be used in the washing machine to clean any clothing or towels that might have been exposed to the product. Styling tools, combs and brushes that were used can be salvaged by dispersal into hot water.
