How to Obtain a Press Pass Through Picturestock

If you enjoy taking pictures and writing blogs, you can get a legitimate press pass through Picturestock.com. Picturestock.com offers the journalists the opportunity to join their organization and become a paid photographer. For a nominal fee, you can obtain access to sporting events, press conferences and celebrity events.

Instructions

1. Visit the Picturestock.com web site. Press the ¨Press Pass¨ button on the main menu.

2. Read the information on the entire page. It will help you understand what a press pass is and how to use one. The guidelines and regulations of the organization are also listed in this section.

3. Make sure to have a passport size picture available to send along with your application. The photo can be black and white or colored. It cannot exceed 1½ by 2 inches.

4. Scroll down to the bottom of the page and click on the ¨Image Submission and Order Form¨ button. Print out the form and fill in the bottom part with your information.

5. Decide if you want to sign up to be on their photo assignment list to become a paid photographer. This is optional and there is an additional $25 fee.

6. Mark the ¨Press Pass¨ box on the form and write in the $50 fee.

7. Pay for your press pass with a money order or check, or by filling in your credit card information. Do not send cash.

8. Mail the application, fee and photo to Picture Stock, 1711 Cudaback Avenue, Niagara Falls, New York 14303-1709.

9. Wait approximately 30 days to receive your press pass by mail. The press pass is valid for 3 years.
