Step 1
Go to Mypodcast.com and click on the green ¨Create your Podcast for Free¨ button.

Choose a podcast name and enter it in the ¨Podcast Title¨ space. Enter the desired URL in the "Podcast URL" space. Remember, this will be your podcast website URL--make it catchy.

Create your account by filling in user name, password, display name and email address.

Type in the verification code and check the box stating that you have read their terms of service agreement. Make sure to click on the ¨Terms of Service Agreement¨ link and read it, prior to checking the box.

Choose your podcast template and press the ¨Create my Podcast¨ button.

Click on the ¨Download Podcast Recorder ¨ link. Save the program and install it on your computer.

Press the ¨Profile¨ link. Opt to make your profile public or private. Fill in display name, first name, last name, gender and birth date. Press "Confirm Changes!" button. To verify changes click on the ¨View Updated Profile¨ link.

Click on the ¨Back¨ button on your browser page until you see the "Congratulations" title. This is the page that has the program download and user guide links. Press the green ¨Go to my Podcast¨ button. You will be prompted to download the application again; ignore this. Instead, read the user guide by clicking on the ¨Read User Guide¨ link. Once you have followed the steps of the user guide, press the ¨Back¨ button on your browser again.

Check your podcast website by pressing the ¨Preview¨ link at the top of the page. To make changes, close your browser tab and choose the option on the right hand side of the page titled ¨Edit Podcast Template." Make sure you are satisfied with your podcast website before proceeding to upload and publish podcasts.

Log out of your account and close your browser. Open the "Mypodcast Recorder" application from your desktop.

Verify that your microphone is connected to your computer and properly functioning by checking that the green line fluctuates up and down every time you speak into the microphone (when using the Mypodcast Recorder application).

Start recording a podcast by pressing the ¨Red Circle.¨ To add a commercial spot simply press on the ¨Quotation¨ icon. Press the ¨Red Square¨ button to stop recording. Once you are done recording, you have the option to replay the podcast by pressing the middle green ¨Arrow¨ button. To rewind one second back, press the left ¨Arrow¨ button. To fast-forward one second, press the right ¨Arrow¨ button.

Make sure you have allowed at least one advertising spot on your recorded podcast and press the ¨Publish¨ button. When prompted, enter your user name and password. Type in episode information and check the "Terms and conditions" box. Press the ¨Ok¨ button so the upload can begin. Congratulations! You have just recorded your first podcast and are on your way to making extra cash.
