Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Paper scrapbook supplies
  • Digital scrapbook supplies
  • Photo editing software
  • Color printer
  1. Step 1

Become familiar with digital scrapbook techniques. Many digital scrapbook websites offer tutorials and background. The Scrapbookmax website offers a complete digital scrapbook software package.

  2. Step 2

Begin a scrapbook session as you normally would by selecting papers, photos and embellishments. Digital scrapbook suppliers offer digital elements online. Some of these elements are free but others require a fee. Some suppliers require opening an account or subscribing to a membership.

  3. Step 3

Include a digitally enhanced photo in a layout or print a digital embellishment on card stock to add to the layout if you typically use just papers and stickers.

  4. Step 4

Design a layout on the computer, print it out and add the perfectly coordinated sticker or soft vellum to add dimension.

  5. Step 5

Experiment with whatever elements are available and don't be afraid to mix both traditional and digital elements.

Tips & Warnings
  • Be creative. Don't be limited by what the local scrapbook store carries.
