Things You'll Need:
- Basket with handle
- Floral foam
- Wooden skewers
- Green and purple grapes
- Strawberries
- Kiwi
- Blueberries
- Pineapple
- Raspberries
- Daisy cookie cutter
- Kale or herbs
- Ribbon
-
Step 1
Place a large piece of floral foam in the bottom of a basket. The basket can be any size and needs a handle for easier carrying.
-
Step 2
Put four to six green or purple grapes on a wooden skewer. Leave at least 3 inches empty at one end of the skewer. Use all one-color grapes or mix colors on each skewer. Make between five and ten skewers of grapes, depending on the size of your basket.
-
Step 3
Skewer the strawberries. Cut the tops off the strawberries and put them top side down on the skewers. Stick the strawberries on one end of the skewer leaving the rest empty so it resembles a flower on a stem. Use one or two strawberries for each skewer.
-
Step 4
Peel and slice kiwi into 1/4 inch slices. Place one slice on the end of each skewer. Then place a blueberry on the end of the skewer so it looks like the middle of the flower.
-
Step 5
Peel a pineapple and cut into 1/2 inch thick rings. Don't core the pineapple. Use a daisy shaped cookie cutter to cut the pineapple slices. Put each slice on the skewer leaving a little room at the top. Add one raspberry to the top of each pineapple flower for the center.
-
Step 6
Arrange the skewers by pushing them into the foam at the bottom of the basket.
-
Step 7
Add kale or herbs around the base of the skewers to hide the foam in the basket. Use hot glue to adhere a ribbon on to the basket handle. Add pearls or other decorative accessories, if desired.
