How to Make a Chocolate Trifle

• Whipped cream

Instructions

1. Prepare a 9x13 inch chocolate sheet cake or pan of brownies following the recipe on the box. Allow the cake or brownies to cool completely before slicing into small squares.

2. Make the instant vanilla pudding following the recipe on the box while the cake is cooling. True chocolate lovers may prefer chocolate pudding rather than vanilla.

3. Gather the remaining ingredients and a trifle bowl.

4. Layer the trifle ingredients in the following order: cake squares, chocolate syrup and instant pudding. Repeat the process twice and then spread the whipped cream on top of the layers.

5. Sprinkle chocolate jimmies over the top of the whipped cream layer of your trifle.

6. Refrigerate until time to serve dessert.
