How to Dress as an Alien
Like humans, aliens apparently come in all shapes and colors. Depending on sightings from personal friends or acquaintances, you can dress in a variety of ways. It is a personal choice either to buy or to make your alien costume. Either way, make it your own personal style. Read on to learn more.

Find some tight leggings. Those who grew up in the 80's may still have a pair or two hidden somewhere in the back the closet. Metallic colors work best. Guys uncomfortable with tights can spray paint a pair of tight jeans with metallic paint straight onto their legs. Women can go with the metallic mini.

Dress up the evening by wearing loud colored shoes. High heels are optional as comfort must take precedence during universal traveling and new world expeditions. Inexpensive fabric flats or old white tennis shoes can also be painted with metallic paint easily.

Decide on how many eyes will be needed. If choosing just two, be sure to decorate them with bold, bright colors as to draw attention to them. Additional eyes can be purchased and adhered with eyelash glue. Removal is easy and painless.

Think how many fingers you will need during time that you will be dressed as an alien and cover those that are not needed. For some reason, aliens don't usually have five digits on each hand; maybe the opposable thumb is really that necessary. Tucking your fingers in gloves is a nice way to "remove" fingers.

Wrap a towel, like a turban, tightly around your head. Tuck the ends under to get a tight fit and remove carefully as not to unwind. Paint it a nice mousy gray color. When dry add some darker tones of gray and ash to give it depth. This is the shape of your giant head. Costume shops may also have these pre-made to speed along the creation process.

Purchase silver makeup for your face. This is the one area that you will benefit to spend a little money on for the sake of your skin. Get something hypoallergenic and waterproof, and of course it must blend well.
