Wing Chun is by far one of the most widely practiced martial arts in recent history. Bruce Lee studied Wing Chun technique under master Yip Man; and perhaps because of this, Wing Chun has devoted followers all over the world. Though some who wish to master the system devote themselves to an instructor, joining a club can be less structured way to practice the art. Read on to learn more.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Step1
Decide what kind of club you would like to belong to. Some clubs are basically non-profit, no-frills schools for learning Wing Chun technique. Others clubs are for members to come together and fight. Every club has its own culture.
Step2
Find a club near campus. The most common types of Wing Chun clubs are centered around university communities. If you are a student, search your school's rooster of student organizations and find out if there is a group on campus.
Step3
Be prepared for an unstructured atmosphere. Every person who practices will develop their own style. Wing Chun technique is actually a series of ideas that students can adapt to their own body types and physical limitations.
Step4
Show up and ask questions. It may be uncomfortable the first few times; but there is no better way to meet people who have the same interest. Clubs are filled with people who want to hone their Wing Chun technique using the most intellectual of martial arts.
