Step1
Ask yourself what kind of skiboarding experience you want to have. If you're a beginner, you may want a location with gently sloping terrain perfect for getting your bearings on your boards. If you're a more advanced skiboarder, you may be looking for sites with rails and ramps set up for mastering jumps and tricks.
Step2
Read articles on skiboarding in skiboarding and extreme sports magazines, such as Skiboard Magazine. Articles in these publications are often focused on great locations for skiboarding and give the author's accounts of their experiences there.
Step3
Visit blogs, websites and chat rooms for skiboarders. These sites have interactivity built in, so you are able to ask questions of members and get advice on prime skiboarding locations.
Step4
Watch skiboarding videos and DVD's to get ideas on where to go for your skiboarding adventure. Extreme sports fanatics love to make videos of themselves doing tricks and exploring exotic locales; these recordings are often available for sale at extreme sports stores and their websites. Alternately, many skiboarders post their recorded exploits on video sharing sites such as YouTube, where you can view them for free.
