Instructions
  1. Step 1

Look for an exotic animal breeder who may be interested in purchasing your Wallaroo. Though stud service is probably not what you had in mind for your pet, there are worse fates. At least a breeder will understand the unique demands of caring for a Wallaroo and be able to provide him with the premium feed he's grown accustomed to.

  2. Step 2

Post on forums that specialize in matching buyers with sellers. Unfortunately, the market for your Wallaroo is limited. You may have to send her far, far away. If you think you might have to ship your Wallaroo, make it clear in your post that the buyer is responsible for transportation fees.

  3. Step 3

Know the laws of the country in which you are selling. Trade on exotic animals is restricted or illegal in the United States. You might find that though it is legal to adopt a Wallaroo, it is illegal to buy one. Know your rights and proceed cautiously.

  4. Step 4

Make sure you are comfortable with the new owners of your Wallaroo. Don't be afraid to ask questions regarding their age, lifestyle and general situation in life. Any discomfort you feel may save you a lifetime of guilt after you and your pet have parted. If you are planning to rid yourself of Wallaroos altogether, consider sending along some literature you have accumulated about the animal.
