When the time comes to present your daughter at her coming out celebration, you need to think unique and personal. You don't want your Debutante Ball to be just like all the others you will be attending that season. One simple way to set yours apart from the others is offering special party favors your guests will love. Read on to learn what you should offer.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Round metal tins with lids
  • Round labels
  • Candy or mints
  • Satin ribbon
  • Photographs

Step1
Purchase some 2-inch round silver tins with lids and round white labels the same size. Be sure to get enough for each guest and anticipate needing extras. There are always people who change plans at the last minute and show up unannounced.
Step2
Scan a picture of your debutante into your computer and use it to create a design for the labels. Incorporate the theme of your ball along with the date of the event. Then print the labels and place one neatly on the lid of each tin.
Step3
Fill the tins with the Deb's favorite candy or some colorful mints. Jordan Almonds, for example, come in a variety of colors so you can match them to your color scheme. Replace the lid and tie a bow around the tin using satin ribbon. Wrap the ribbon on the side of the tin, not the top, so that it helps hold the lid on and doesn't cover the label.
Step4
Go through all the photographs you have of your debutante and select a few dozen to use in making a digital photo album as a second party favor. In addition to pictures of just your daughter, include shots with close friends and family.
Step5
Take your collection of pictures to a photo processing store and have them create picture CD's for all your guests. Make sure they are done in chronological order and have them include a current picture of your debutante on the cover along with the date of the ball.

Tips & Warnings

  • Set a table by the exit filled with the party favors so that guests can collect them as they leave. Include a blown up photo of the debutante along with a warm message thanking guests for coming.
