Microcar clubs are filled with environmentally appreciative people. Many Microcar club members have built their own Microcar. Joining a Microcar club is a good way of meeting people with the same interests as you. Many Microcar clubs have meetings, car shows and they plan day and overnight trips.

Difficulty: Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Research the nearest Microcar club in your area or join an international Microcar club. Microcar club members pride themselves in being not the norm. The website microcar.org is a good place to start.

  2. Step 2

Get in touch with a Microcar club secretary.

  3. Step 3

Find an application form, ask if there is a membership fee, fill out and send in your application with the Microcar club fee included and get on the club's mailing list.

  4. Step 4

Ask when, where and what time the next Microcar club meeting is. If the membership secretary doesn't know, take the initiative and ask how you can find out. You may choose to ask for a listing of all Microcar club members that hold office and their contact information so if you have any questions you will know who to contact.

  5. Step 5

Choose a Microcar club that makes you feel comfortable and included. There is a great social aspect to joining a Microcar club--it is not all about driving your Microcar to the meeting. You may make friends that last longer than your Microcar.

Tips & Warnings
  • Make sure the Microcar club is legitimate. If there is a membership fee, ask what the money will be used for.
  • As with all things done over the Internet, be careful that you know who you are giving your credit card information to.
