1. Find out how to show off your kit car to other kit car enthusiasts. This can be as easy as going to the website which-kit.com. You may also want to join a kit car club that organizes trips, shows and has a website for posting pictures of a member's kit car.
2. Take digital pictures of your kit car and post them to a website. This is one way of showing off your kit car, but it isn't as rewarding as one on one conversations about your kit car.
3. Join your local kit car organization. Kit car clubs have organizers who schedule lunch and coffee meetings at local dinners where all members drive their kit cars to the designated spot for display while mingling.
4. Enter a kit car show that you learned about through joining a club or organization. Many times you will be able to enter the ground area the night before to select where you want to display your kit car--this is on a first come first serve basis. Presentation of your kit car should involve conversation about, pictures of and private tours of the interior and engine of your kit car. There may be an entry fee for the contest portion of the kit car show. If your kit car is in mint condition you may want to enter, since many times there are cash prizes to be won.
5. Keep your kit car clean at all times. You never know when someone is going to take an interest. Remember your kit car is a representation and extension of who you are as a hobbyist.
