A kit car is a very special car that you will take pride in protecting. If your kit car is protected well you will be able to take it to kit car shows and possibly win trophies and cash prizes. The time and effort of building your own kit car makes it important to protect your kit car.

Step1
Choose soft lint-free clothes and high quality non-toxic cleaners to clean your kit car.
Step2
Wet down your kit car with water from an outside hose. Take your lint-free cloth and wipe down your wet kit car. Douse with soap and more water.
Step3
Scrub off all bugs and dirt from your car, windshield and tires. Rinse with cool water.
Step4
Dry off your kit car with a dry lint-free towel.
Step5
Spray your tires with a white wall cleaner and scrub any remaining dirt from your kit car's tire walls.
Step6
Clean your windshield with a grease cutting window cleaner.
Step7
Rub wax into the finish of your kit car until your shoulder feels like it is broken.
