Entering an exotic car rally is a way to take your car on the road in the presence of a horde of other exotic cars. It can be a great way to bond with other exotic car owners and take part in a friendly competition. Many rallies make a weekend of it, beginning with a car show and silent auction, even a party, and ending with a scenic trip to a specified destination.

Step1
Register well in advance. If you have your eye on a particular rally, you will want to adhere to the deadlines to secure a limited spot. Usually, you will have a choice to pay for a package deal, which includes a dinner or other social event, or you can just pay for a spot in the rally itself. Proceeds go to charities.
Step2
Make sure your car is in tip top shape. Many an exotic car rally will begin with a careful inspection of the car by a panel of judges to gauge the condition of the vehicle. They will be looking for simple things, making sure the doors and lights are in proper working order, move on to see that the engine is running well and nothing leaks. If you've been aware of any small problems, or even if you aren't aware, it might be time to take your car for a tune-up as the rally approaches.
Step3
Drive safely when competing through open traffic. The focus of the competition is on achieving an ideal time and on correct navigation. Stunt moves will usually result in automatic disqualification.
Step4
Bring the necessary maps to help you navigate the course.
