Palm reading is a form of predicting your future and understanding your past by analyzing the lines found on your hand. Each line represents a different aspect of your life. The three main lines that most palm readers look at are the heart line, head line and life line. Understanding these lines will make reading palms a simple task.

Instructions

    Heart Line

  1. Step 1

Find your heart line. It is the top line of your hand and extends from your middle or index finger towards your pinky.

  2. Step 2

Consider where the heart line starts. If it is found underneath the index finger then you are happy with your love life. A line under the middle finger is indicative of a person that has a selfish outlook on love. A line falling in between the two fingers shows someone that gives away their heart too easy.

  3. Step 3

Look at the length of the line. The shorter the line, the more concerned with sex you are rather than romance.

  4. Step 4

See the straightness of the heart line. If you have a very straight line then you have the ability to control your emotions. More curvy lines suggest a more emotional person.

  5. Head Line

  6. Step 1

Locate the head line. It is found in the middle of the palm, below the heart line and travels across the palm.

  7. Step 2

Observe the length of the head line. If it is not very long, it indicates that you are a more physical rather than mental type of person.

  8. Step 3

Look at the curviness of the head line. A wavier line shows that you have a very short attention span. A very straight line displays a clear and concise thinker.

  9. Step 4

Check for any broken spots in the line. A broken line often means that you are not consistent in the way that you think about things.

  10. Life Line

  11. Step 1

Trace your life line. It is below the heart and head line, starting at the edge of the palm and extending down your palm.

  12. Step 2

Analyze the length of the life line. A longer life line indicates a long life.

  13. Step 3

Consider the depth of the line. Deeper lines are found on healthier people while a fainter line is indicative of illness.

  14. Step 4

Count the number of life lines that you have. If you have several lines, then you have more enthusiasm and vitality surrounding you.

  15. Step 5

Glance at any breaks found in the life line. These breaks display a sudden change in your life. It could be an accident, illness or divorce.
