How to Join Boy Scouts of America
The Boys Scouts of America is an organization for boys age 11 and older. The purpose of the organization is to teach responsibility, leadership and citizenship, as well as to have fun. Many of the activities are planned around nature and the outdoors. Joining the Boy Scouts is an exciting adventure for newcomers and a rite of passage for boys who were cub scouts when they were in elementary school.
