Things You'll Need:
- 1 piece soft mesh
- 2 sidewalls
- 1 lacrosse stick
- 4 regular shooting strings
- 1 extra long shooting string
- 1 short piece cross lace
-
Step 1
Find a comfortable place to work. Use the shooting string to attach the mesh to the top of the stick.
-
Step 2
Starting at the top, move down the stick, using the sidewalls to attach the mesh to the frame. The mesh should be loose enough to allow the ball to be caught, not so tight that the ball will bounce off as if hitting a tennis racket.
-
Step 3
Attach the four shooting strings horizontally, one above the other like a ladder. The one at the top should be very tight, with the next a little looser and so on, so that the bottom one is the loosest.
-
Step 4
Tie the bottom of the mesh in place with the short piece of cross lace. Again, be sure not to secure the mesh so tightly that you produce a tennis racket effect.
-
Step 5
Make sure the mesh is smooth and even. Bumps or tangles should be smoothed out. If the mesh is lopsided, you may have to start over.
-
Step 6
Score some goals! Lacrosse is great!
