How to Find Base Housing at Kaneohe Bay

MCBH Kaneohe Bay is a desirable duty station for most members of the Navy and Marine Corps. Base housing in Hawaii is available at Kaneohe Bay to active duty service members and their families.

Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • “Application for Assignment to Housing" form, DD1746
  • Fax machine
  1. Step 1

    Fill out the "Application for Assignment to Housing" form, DD1746, prior to arriving at Marine Corps Base Hawaii, Kaneohe Bay.

  2. Step 2

    Send Form DD1746 and a copy of your orders to the MCB Hawaii Housing Office by mailing it, along with a copy of your orders to Family Housing Department, Box 63003, MCBH Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii 96863-3003, or faxing it to (808) 257-1259 or DSN 457-1259.

  3. Step 3

    Report to the Family Housing Office, Building 455, upon arrival to MCBH Kaneohe Bay.

  4. Step 4

    Anticipate being placed on a base housing waiting list.

Tips & Warnings
  • Form DD1746 can be found at mcbh.usmc.mil.
  • Include your email address with your housing application paperwork.
  • You can be put on the base housing waiting list prior to arriving in Hawaii by submitting your paperwork by fax or mail.
  • For more information about housing, you can call the MCB Hawaii Housing Office at (866) 224-7942 or email them at MCBH.G4.FMLY.HSG.FMB@usmc.mil.
  • Base housing is not always immediately available. Contact the Temporary Lodging Facility at (808) 254-2806 for more information.
