-
2
Place the desired number of zip top bags together for number of pages in book. At least 5 pages are recommended.
-
3
Staple them together by the bottom of each bag. This would be the opposite of the bag where the opening is located.
-
4
Pick out family and friend pictures to glue to the cut card stock. Or you can choose to cut pictures of a magazine. Use pictures that your child recognizes and can say, then add a few that will be easy for your child to say and can build on their vocabulary.
-
5
Write on the card stock the name of the family or friend. Or you can write the name of the magazine picture you picked.
-
6
Insert finished cards stock in the zip top bag.
-
7
Make a title page for the first page. Title it with "My Family" or "Things I see" book.
-
8
Take the time to read to your child at least once a day. This can be at any time but if you incorporate reading into your child's bedtime routine this will make bedtime an easier transition.
