1. Download and install a Bit Torrent client on your computer. You can find a simple and powerful one here:

2. Search online and download files with a ".torrent" extension. Some web sites that are dedicated to torrents include:
   
   http://isohunt.com
   http://www.torrentspy.com

3. Find the .torrent file on your computer and open it. This will automatically open the file using your installed Bit Torrent client.

4. Wait for your file to finish downloading!

• Look for the files that are most popular or have the most people downloading. As users download, they also upload parts of files they have already downloaded to other users.
• Downloads may start off slow, but generally pick up speed as time passes.
