Take the train to Edinburgh's Waverley Station. It is only a few minutes' walk from Chambers Street, where the museum complex is located. It is well-marked by street signs.

Arrive by car. Though the museum encourages those who visit to arrive by public transportation, there are several car parks near the museum where guests can pay to leave their cars.
