Take note of power lines, appliances and other sources of electromagnetic fields before gathering an EMF reading to show evidence of ghosts. These sources can all contribute to a false positive reading, so it's important to keep their location in mind both as you log your readings and as you evaluate your results.

Consider the fact that some sources of electromagnetic fields are hidden from view and may not be immediately apparent. Michael LeDet i understand and fully take into account the natrual and logical explanations. when using a k2 i try to find the most stagnantly dead area to place it and watch it for a good amount of time to make sure its not picking up anything. im just trying to figure out what the different levels of the k2 is meant to read and symbolizes. they say low level is spirits, yet i believe that they can give off high levels as evident by my research. i am in the process of purchasing other emf detectors as correlates.

Kevin Urso well the earth is a giant electric generator, there are areas that the earth's own magnetic field can fluctuate, causing you emf to go all wacky, problem is you can't prove what it is, also i have seen lightning storms cause my emf to go up and down even from miles away

Michael LeDet nope. works fine. maybe you misread question. question was, if only man made electronics give off the high readings, then why do i get high readings where they are abscent. they are not consitant readings as madmade sources give off.

Michael LeDet nah in a 17th century home where there is nothign of the sorts at all. will be doing evp and have k2 meter go to red. no electronics being used.
