Did you wake up this morning feeling stiff in every part of your body? Well i've got the solution for you to warm up and get pumped. Of course, if you are a pitcher, you will want to ice your arm to let the muscles relax and feel comftorable. Then you will want to apply IcyHot, or any other brand of senstion, to a "still-stiff", muscle.

Before, or once you get to a baseball game, you should stretch befor even throwing a ball. Without stretching, your muscles will not have the chance to loosen and flex. If throwing a ball while stiff, you can pull a muscle. But stretching isn't only for throwing, it goes along with swinging a bat, running down the line, or diving for a ball. One stretch for the arm is to put your throwing arm out in front of you, take the hand of the other arm, cuff it around the elbow, and pull the arm towards the body.

After stretching, ask a teamate to throw around a ball with you. Having a catch will allow the muscles to stretch out even farther. But be careful! You must start off close, and then get farther. Start off by about 7 ft, then move 3 big steps back. If you start throwing to far back, you can throw out your arm.

After having a catch, go to the position you play and do a little feilding practice, have a coach hit the ball around the field and throw the ball to whatever base the coach wants you to.

During the game, if you are on deck {or next to bat}, you can swing a bat with a weight to stretch out your arms and allow yourself to swing the bat faster. You are now loose and can play a complete game without feeling pain in your body.
