Shop at the Chesire's Christmas Farmer's Market

Cheshire county is made up of towns and villages which combine to support the agricultural industry. The farmers sell their products not only throughout Britain, but in the Cheshire market squares, where about once a month the farmers will sell their produce to the locals. The busiest time of year is Christmas, where they're likely to get people from out of town buying the famous Cheshire cheeses.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Go to Nantwich farmer's market. This is open on the Saturday before Christmas from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Nantwich Town Square. Contact 01270 537 805.

  2. Step 2

Take your time to look around. There are over 25 stalls selling produce such as wild boar, jams and apples. For more information about the produce available, visit the website (link below).

  3. Step 3

Phone beforehand to check what they are selling. The list on the website is what they regularly sell, but around Christmas it is likely to change; phone 01270 255 739 for more information closer to the date.

  4. Step 4

Go to other farmer's markets around Christmas. Nantwich is the farmer's market closest to Christmas, but others are open throughout December across the county. For a list, click on the link below.
