1 14 Ounce can eagle brand sweetened condensed milk
1 Teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 Cup of butter and 2 tablespoons of butter
1 Cup and 1/2 cup of biscuit baking mix
1/2 Cup firmly packed brown sugar
1/2 Cup of chopped nuts
2 or 3 Mixing bowls
Measuring cups and spoons
Preheated oven 325 degrees F
Large fork or hand cutter
Step1
Preheat oven to 350 degrees F. Peel and slice 5 apples (which will make about 5 - 6 cups worth.)
Step2
In medium mixing bowl combine apples, 1 14 ounce can of sweetened condensed milk and large 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon. Set aside as you will use this in step 4.
Step3
In separate large mixing bowl pour 1 (save 1/2 cup for next step) cup biscuit baking mix. Take 1/2 cup of butter and cut it( using large fork or hand cutter-see picture) into the biscuit mix a spoonful at a time, continuing until butter is gone. This will make a crumbly like mixture. Stir apple mixture into this and gently mix together.
Step4
Pour into a 9 inch square baking pan. Take 1/2 cup of biscuit making mix and 1/2 cup brown sugar and cut into it 2 tablespoons of butter to make the crumble mixture again. Add 1/2 chopped pecans in a stir. Sprinkle evenly over apple mixture and bake in oven for an hour. Serve warm with ice cream. Yummy!
Tips & Warnings
Don't over mix the biscuit mix and butter or you will not have the crumbly consistency you are looking for.
