A common misconception is that Christians don't have fun. Although this is changing as more contemporary Christian artists are busting onto the music scene, it's difficult to find fun and fellowship with Christian friends. God has put it into your heart to sing and karaoke is a great way to praise the Lord and fellowship with other believers. Find a place to karaoke and not offend your new-found faith!

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Contact your local church. If you have a church home, call the staff and ask if they have a karaoke machine and a place to get together. They may already have a youth-oriented outing scheduled weekly where karaoke would fit right in.

  2. Step 2

Look in the yellow pages. If your local church doesn't have the facilities or the desire to set up karaoke, look for a large church close by. They may have a weekly café or other type of meeting place for this type of fellowship.

  3. Step 3

Search out your own karaoke material. If you don't need a large audience, find a tape or CD of your favorite Christian artist. Look at your local Christian book store, department store or media store. Then you can go home and belt one out for Fido.

  4. Step 4

Look online for karaoke material. Chartbuster and Priddis are two labels which produce karaoke for the Christian consumer. Every type of music imaginable is available, from hip hop to kid's to country.

  5. Step 5

Have a party. Now that you have found the Christian karaoke, plan an event, large or small, and get together for some great fellowship and awesome worship!
