3. Watch a lot of different videos. Clips and archives abound on the Internet. See what other people bring to the art of Wing Chun. Everybody brings their own skills to the martial art. Don't let one person on a DVD dominate your thinking about Wing Chun.
4. Give yourself plenty of space. If you have to practice in front of the TV, make sure you have cleared a path for yourself in the living room. For concentration, it is best to work without interruption. Everybody has their own privacy needs. Make sure yours are being met for the most effective training session with your Wing Chun video.
5. Practice in front of the mirror. You don't have to do this every time, but it helps to get a good look at your form and compare it to what you see on the DVD.
