  1. Step 1

    Prepare a Budget for your apartment project - fix a maximum amount you can spend - Find out how much loan you will be provided from Bank(in case you are going for Home Loan)

  2. Step 2

    Get ready with atleast 15 - 20 % of total project cost as cash with you.

  3. Step 3

    Select a location where you want to be settled
    Shortlist the builders in this location

  4. Step 4

    Search for a good builder - a nice doc for this is already available in this ehow itself . Check for no. of projects completed by the builder
    Have a visit to completed projects and get the feedback about him.

  5. Step 5

    Check for fittings like electrical fittings etc , Construction of building .. locality , amenities , access to your apartment, resale value , legal documents

  6. Step 6

    Get in to an agreement with the builder - prepare Sale of Agreement

  7. Step 7

    Present Sale of Agreement to your Bank and apply for Home Loan
    Documents required are 6 months Salary slip , 6 months bank statement,
    form 16 , ID Proof

    Property document,Santion document , BDA Approval document (these has to be provided by the builder)

  8. Step 8

    After Loan is approved Registration require ID Proof , DD in the name of Registrar , Existing Owner of the property

  9. Step 9

    After registering Original registration certs will be collected by Bank, and a copy will be provided to you then after 45 days apply for KATHA certificate
