Things You'll Need:
- weiners, 1 package
- unsweetened pineapple tidbits, 1 can
- soy sauce, 2 Tbsp
- vinegar, 1/4 Cup
- water, 1 Cup
- brown sugar, 1/3 Cup
- cornstarch, 1/4 Cup
- water (again), 1/3 Cup
- frying pan

Step 1
Slice weiners lengthwise, so they are no longer round.* Chop weiner strips into about 8 pieces each.
*This is important to reduce the choking hazard - weiners should always be sliced down the centre lengthwise! -
Step 2
In the frying pan, combine pineapple (with juice), 1 Cup water, vinegar, soy sauce, brown sugar, and weiners. Stir together.

On medium heat and stirring frequently, bring to a boil.
While heating, mix cornstarch and 1/3 Cup water thoroughly, then set it aside. -
Step 4
Once weiner mixture is boiling, slowly pour cornstarch mixture into it, stirring constantly. Continue stirring until it returns to a boil and begins to thicken.

Remove from heat and spoon weiner mixture over rice, potatoes, or pasta.
