The second step to talking to your teen is to set up a family night and have an agreed day of the week where your family, or just your teen and you, will sit down, and talk, play a game, or go out and see a movie. This will help your teen adjust to your rules.

The third step to talking to a teen is to sit down with them and go over homework, tests, or report cards, and show them the changes they need to make, or the adjustments they need.

Step four to talking to your teen is to set up a trust network where your teen will agree to brush off their ming onto you.
