Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Things You’ll Need:
- Hand Sanitiser
- Kleenex
- Lysol Spray
- Your Own Pen and pencil
- Lots of water, soap and hand Lotion.
Step1
Washing Hands.
Hand washing with soap and water is the most effective way to get germs off our hands.
Step2
Hand Sanitizers.
Keep a small bottle of hand sanitizer with you at all times or some individually wrapped hand sanitizers can be more convenient. I even use it after pumping my gas or washing my windshield because a lot of other hands have been on those gas pumps and windshield squeegees.
Step3
Extra Pens and Pencils.
Use only your own pen and pencil. If you work at a desk, have extra pens, a bottle of hand sanitizer and some Kleenex on your desk for other people to use.
Step4
We Never Know What's On The Bottom Of Shoes.
Don't place your purse. handbag or briefcase on the floor at work or in restaurants because lots of other shoes with no telling what on the bottom of them.
Step5
Cans Of Lysol.
Keep a can of Lysol at work, use it even on door, drawer and cupboard handles as well as in the air.
Step6
Ventilation.
You should also have good ventilation in your office. Or an open window.
Step7
Wash Your Hands Sign.
I have a decorative sign on the inside of my bathroom door that say' s, If you haven't washed your hands, PLEASE don't open the door.
Thank You.

on 10/10/2007 What a useful article. Sometimes we all forget just how bad our workspaces can be.

on 7/12/2007 Don't forget to spray (or wipe) your phone occasionally as well. Depending on the location of your desk, you never know who may help him/herself to your phone. I had a desk in just such a location.
