Step 1
Go to the video store. You can often find Pilates videos in the community section or ask the staff where their fitness videos are kept. You might be surprised by the collection.

Step 2
Attend a Beginner Pilates Matwork class at a community recreation center. If you are uncomfortable registering for a class, many instructors will allow you to sit in on a class.

Step 3
Visit a Pilates Studio. You can find them in the phone book under Fitness Centers. Most studios are happy to give you a tour of their facility.
