How to Add a Music Video to Your MySpace Page

MySpace profiles show your personality, so of course you want it to include photos, songs and whatever else you are interested in. Adding a music video to your profile tells your friends what kind of music you are into right now. It is fun and quick to do--the hardest part is choosing which video to add!

Instructions

1. Sign into MySpace using your user email and password. If you do not have a MySpace account, you will have to sign up for one before you can add music videos to your page.

2. Click on "Music" on the top of the page.

3. Click on "Music Videos" on the MySpace Music page.

4. Search for the band name or song title in the search bar or browse the featured videos.

5. Click on the band photo or the title of the video.

6. Watch the video to see that it is the one you want. If there is an option to "Add to my Profile" click it. Some videos are unable to be added to your page--these are for viewing only.

7. View your profile to see your new video!

Tips & Warnings

• The video code is also listed below the video. You can copy this code and paste it anywhere in "Edit Profile" to change where the video is located on your page or to add multiple videos.
• Some videos cannot be added to your page because the artists enable viewing only. Try searching for your favorite band or song title in "Videos" instead of "Music Videos" to search for videos uploaded by MySpace users. You will need to copy and paste the code into your "Edit Profile" for the music videos to show up on your page.
