How to Search With ChaCha.com

ChaCha.com is a revolutionary new search engine that works differently than other search engines. They use the human brain as their main selling point by offering you handpicked results from their staff, and if that doesn't get you what you want, then you can use a live chat option to have a "guide" find exactly what you are looking for.

Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Go to the ChaCha website.
Step2
Enter your search subject into the search box as you would with any search engine.
Step3
View the results. If you do not see what you are looking for, you should utilize a ChaCha.com guide.
Step4
Click "Chat with a Live Guide" which is located on the very top center of the webpage.
Step5
Chat with the guide by typing your message in the text box and clicking send, then wait for them to respond in the chat window on your screen.
Step6
View the results as they appear on the screen.
Step7
Select the "new guide" button if you are not receiving good help from your guide.
Step8
Activate the "I'm Done" button when you have found the results you want. When the popup appears asking you to verify that you are done, click "yes."
Step9
Rate your guide on the top of your screen by selecting the face and description appropriate to how helpful they were.
Step10
Select any of the new results that have appeared.

Tips & Warnings

  • Avoid using filler words like if, and, but and or. They will not help your search.
  • If you have still not found what you needed you should try to start over with a more precise search. If no results are appearing you may be too precise and need to broaden your search.
