How to Become Active in the Elks
The Benevolent and Protective Order of Elks is a fraternal organization dedicated to charity and patriotism. The BPOE, or Elks, sponsor programs to help America's youth through drug awareness, sports competitions and scholarships. Care for veterans is another target area for the Elks. A third focus is the spread of patriotism to American citizens. The Elks carry out their benevolent work through the Elks National Foundation and through local units called lodges.
