Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Computer
  • Internet Connection
  1. Step 1

Choose a name for your lens. Give the lens a name that will be an accurate description of the content. Choose a name unique on Squidoo. Decide on a variation on the name, if the name has already been taken.

  2. Step 2

Fill in a short bio of yourself. Include things that will pertain to your lens, such as work history, where you live or just fun information about yourself.

  3. Step 3

Choose your modules. Choosing modules that will add interesting information to enhance your topic, will bring more readers. Add text modules to allow you to type in blocks of text. Include link modules to allow links to your own website.

  4. Step 4

Monetize your Squidoo lens by adding money modules. Adding MoneyMaker modules allows you to make a small profit when items are bought through your lens.

  5. Step 5

Update your lens often using new Squidoo modules and new information. Keep the lens updated in order to bring in repeat visitors.

Tips & Warnings
  • Join a group in order to bring more viewers, when you make a Squidoo lens. Look for groups that have a high ranking, in order to promote your own lens with a larger number of viewers.
  • Proofread anything you type into a Squidoo module. Typos will make you lose credibility.
