Instructions

Difficulty: Easy

Step1
Encourage others to vote for the politician by advertising for him. Place his bumper stickers on your car, wear his campaign buttons or display a yard sign in your yard. Name recognition is a crucial fundamental to any politician.
Step2
Make a political contribution to her campaign. You can donate up to $2300 to any one politician per election. However, before you make the contribution, learn the laws governing financially supporting a politician by going to OpenSecrets.org, clicking on "The Basics" and then "Campaign Finance Law."
Step3
Start a Meetup Group for the politician by going to Meetup.com and clicking on "Start a Meetup." Meetup groups allow political supporters to gather and discuss ways of getting involved with the politician's campaign. First check to make sure the candidate does not already have a Meetup group in your area.
Step4
Network with the candidate and her supporters. Go to the candidate's website and look for a link to join her e-mail list or her MySpace supporter page. This will keep you up-to-date on the news from the campaign and on upcoming opportunities for you to lend political support.
Step5
Create a blog for the candidate. Create a blog by going to Blogger and clicking on "Create Your Blog Now." This will enable you to pass along information about the politician to other people and advocate support for him.
Step6
Volunteer with the politician's campaign. This is the ultimate way to support a politician. On the politician's website, there should be contact information for volunteer inquiries. E-mail or call the contact, explain what skills and interests you have and they will try to find a match with their needs.
