Instructions

1. Go to the Southwest Airlines website and download the application to your desktop. Make sure to click "Yes" to any security warning pop ups to ensure installation.

2. Make sure the "Ding" icon is located in the lower corner of your system tray. It will look like the tail of one of their airplanes. That lets you know that the application is installed and working properly on your system.

3. Use your mouse to click on the tail to bring up the application and look for the underlined link that says "Update Registration."

4. Click on that link and choose your favorite airports to be notified about cheap airfare discounts. Remember, you can choose up to ten.

5. Enter in your Rapid Rewards number if you have one, although it is not necessary to utilize this application.

6. Click "Update" to save the information you just entered and close out the application.

7. Listen for the musical Ding that sounds off or look for a small envelope on top of the tail when there is an airfare special.
