Creating your own handmade bracelet can be a lot of fun. When it comes to designing a craft, you can personalize it any way that you would like. To make a handmade bracelet, all it takes is some string and a few colors of your favorite beads. Creating bracelets can be done on your own or with a group of friends. Read on to learn how to make a beaded stretch bracelet.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Scissors
  • Roll of 5 mm StretchMagic Elastic String
  • Glass Beads
  1. Step 1

Roll out some string from your "Stretch Magic" string. Measure the length of your wrist. Leave some extra string so that you can tie your knot. Cut the desired length of your string with scissors.

  2. Step 2

Pick out your favorite beads from your collection. You can choose any color or design that you wish.

  3. Step 3

Begin stringing your beads onto your string by pulling the elastic cord through the holes in the beads. There is no certain order that the beads have to be placed in. Use your imagination to decide on the kind of design and color that you want for your bracelet.

  4. Step 4

String your beads onto the elastic cord until you have reached the desired length. Leave enough cord left over so that you can tie your knot.

  5. Step 5

Take the leftover string and tie it into a knot. Tie it a couple of times and then trim down the excess string. Tuck the remaining string into one of the beads on your bracelet.

  6. Step 6

Slide your bracelet onto your wrist to make sure that it will fit.

Tips & Warnings
  • Cut off extra string from your roll of elastic cord so that you will have enough to tie your knot for the bracelet. It is better to have too much string than not enough.
  • Make sure that you tie your knot securely. If it is not tight enough, your bracelet could break.
