Thanks to your baby shower hostesses and guests, you now have everything from your baby registry. While you are waiting for your little bundle of joy to arrive, you can start writing your baby shower thank you notes. You won't have much time once your baby arrives, so start writing as soon as you receive the gifts. Follow these simple steps to write your baby shower thank you notes.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • Thank You Notes
  • Envelopes
  • Pen
  • Stamps

Step1
Buy thank you notes from a party store. Party stores usually have a large selection. You may want to coordinate the thank you notes with the same style as your baby shower invitations.
Step2
Sort through your gifts, and place the card that came with each gift by the gift. If you had someone write down who gave each present at the shower, find the list.
Step3
Use a colored pen that coordinates with the thank you note.
Step4
Thank the guest first for coming to the shower. Describe specifically how you plan to use the gift. Tell what you plan to buy with gift cards. People want to know that their gift is being used and appreciated.
Step5
Address all envelopes, place stamps on envelopes and stuff envelopes with the thank you note. Now you are ready to mail your baby shower thank you notes. Try to mail them within a week or two of the shower, but definitely no more than a month later.

Tips & Warnings

  • Write your baby shower thank you notes before you use the gifts. This will motivate you to get your thank you notes written.
  • Be sure to write at least five to seven lines in your thank you note.
  • Don't forget to send thank you notes to your hostesses thanking them for planning your shower as well as for their gifts.
