From Quick Guide: Giving Thanks with a Note
Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions

Things You'll Need:

  • Thank You Notes
  • Envelopes
  • Pen
  • Stamps
  1. Step 1

Buy thank you notes from a party store. Party stores usually have a large selection. You may want to coordinate the thank you notes with the same style as your baby shower invitations.

  2. Step 2

Sort through your gifts, and place the card that came with each gift by the gift. If you had someone write down who gave each present at the shower, find the list.

  3. Step 3

Use a colored pen that coordinates with the thank you note.

  4. Step 4

Thank the guest first for coming to the shower. Describe specifically how you plan to use the gift. Tell what you plan to buy with gift cards. People want to know that their gift is being used and appreciated.

  5. Step 5

Address all envelopes, place stamps on envelopes and stuff envelopes with the thank you note. Now you are ready to mail your baby shower thank you notes. Try to mail them within a week or two of the shower, but definitely no more than a month later.
