New crop circles appear every year in many different parts of the world. Since they are so unexpected, it might seem impossible to know how, where or when to visit one. But there is a way to find the crop circles while staying out of trouble with the property owner. Read on to learn how to visit a crop circle.

Difficulty: Moderately Easy
Instructions
  1. Step 1

Find a crop circle to visit. Check the Crop Circle Connector website to find formations in your country. If you feel like traveling, find a crop circle in a far-off land.

  2. Step 2

Travel to Wiltshire, England during the summer if there are no circles where you live. The area has lots of circle activity every year, and finding one there is always a possibility.

  3. Step 3

Ask permission of the land owner before entering a field. A farmer's livelihood is lost when his crops are trampled. That and the last thing you want to find when looking for crop circles is the wrong end of a shotgun.

  4. Step 4

Enter the formation disturbing as few standing plants as possible. Crop circles are delicate and sacred to some. Treat the area with respect.

  5. Step 5

Take a flight over the circle if at all possible. It is difficult to see the overall picture from within the field. Tall ladders can help a little, but for a real view of the crop circle, find a way to get up into the air and view it from above.

  6. Step 6

Climb a nearby hillside for a better view. If ladders don't work and an airplane is out of your budget, find a hill or tall structure nearby. Carefully climb it and enjoy the view.
