Getting tickets to "The Daily Show With Jon Stewart," Comedy Central's popular political satire talk show, is not as difficult as getting tickets for many other television talk shows. If you are planning a trip to New York, it might be worth your while to order tickets to the show online.

Difficulty: Moderately Challenging
Instructions

Go to The Daily Show Website

  1. Step 1

Request tickets by following the directions given on "The Daily Show" website. The show has changed over to a web-based reservation system, making it much easier for fans to choose the specific day they wish to attend.

  2. Step 2

Choose an available date from the monthly calendar that will appear. Enter the number of tickets you are requesting. Keep in mind that you will be able to see three months' worth of dates, and most of the time, only a few dates will be available. If you are planning to request tickets further ahead than three months, check the website again in about a month.

  3. Step 3

Receive your ticket confirmation and respond promptly to the confirmation. "The Daily Show" does not mail paper tickets. Your confirmation will simply mean that you are on the audience coordinators' list for the date you requested.

  4. Try Getting Last-Minute or Standby Tickets

  5. Step 1

Call (212) 586-2477 to get last-minute tickets to "The Daily Show." You must call on the Friday before the desired date, between 11:00 and 11:30 a.m. Eastern time, to see if last-minute tickets are available.

  6. Step 2

Wait at "The Daily Show" studio for same-day standby tickets, if you're in New York City anyway and want to take the chance on scoring tickets once cancellations are made. The standby tickets line forms across the street from the studio, at the park on 52nd Street and Eleventh Avenue.

  7. Step 3

Remember that even if you get to the studio and are first on the standby tickets line, there is no guarantee that you will get into the taping. Last-minute tickets carry less risk.
