Step 1
Install Eudora 6.0 or above. After installation you will be prompted create a junk mail box. If you say "yes" Eudora will create the junk mail box and turn on Spam Watch. If you already have Eudora 6.0 or above installed, simply go to "Tools:Options:Junk Mail" and put a check beside "Automatically Place Junk in the Junk Mailbox" to turn on Spam Watch.

Train Spam Watch to block spam. As you receive junk mail, highlight the spam message and select "Junk" from the message drop down box. This moves the spam to the junk mail folder and helps Spam Watch identify types of spam.

Customize the toolbar for easier access. You can easily add "Junk" and "Not Junk" buttons to the message toolbar to save time and steps. To do this, right-click anywhere on the toolbar and select "Customize" from the drop-down menu. On the general tab, select "Message" from the categories box on the left. There are two icons with fish bones. The icon with the envelope and fish bone is the "Junk Mail" icon. The icon with the diamond and fish bone is the "Not Junk Mail" icon. Simply right-click each icon and drag it to the toolbar for on the fly spam control.

Check your junk mailbox often to make sure you aren't missing important messages. Eudora will empty the junk mailbox every 30 days.
