How to Create a Wedding Book on Picaboo

Your wedding day pictures will be some of the most cherished photos you will ever own. Why not put them in a scrapbook you can share with everyone from the parents of the bride and groom to the ring bearer? By using the Picaboo digital scrapbook service, you can create a simple or an elaborate scrapbook with all your digital photos that can be printed in a professionally bound book or just emailed to guests and friends. Things You’ll Need:

• Digital Pictures

1. Gather the pictures you want to include in your wedding scrapbook. If you are using professional photos from your photographer, make sure to get written permission to reuse the photos.
2. Pick out a variety of staged and candid shots. Get photos of everyone of importance that was there on your special day. Create a specific folder for the pictures to be used in the wedding scrapbook.
3. Click "Create a New Book" from the main menu after you have downloaded the program from the Picaboo website.
4. Choose the theme from the menu on the left. Click on "Wedding" and then press "Next."
5. Select "From Scratch" on the screen. When it asks for the photos you want to use, choose the location of your photos and check "Select All." Press "Next."
6. Name your book, for example "Smith Wedding." Press "Finish." Your book will appear in the main screen with photo wells in which to place your photos.
7. Add pages to the scrapbook by clicking on "Insert Page" which is on the bottom right corner. Add as many pages as you want.
8. Place photos within the page by dragging and dropping them in the photo wells. Change the page layout by choosing one of the many page layout templates found on the far left.
9. Change the layout, background or corners by using the tools to the far left. You must be clicked on the page or picture you want to affect in order for the change to take effect. Change the backgrounds to match your wedding colors.
10. Rearrange pages by clicking "Sort Pages" in the bottom right corner. You can keep track of what photos have already been used by filling the box that says "Hide pictures already in the book" located in the left corner.
11. Add embellishment such as photo corners, journaling or custom backgrounds by using the tabs to the left. Change the font to match the photos and feel of your wedding.
12. Press the green "Buy this Book" button on the bottom right corner. Choose the size and cover of the book from the selections.
