When you download Divx video files to your computer from websites like Stage 6, there are times you want to watch them using your DVD player, or simply convert them to DVD. For this, there are several different programs, but the easiest by far is DivxToDVD. With only a few clicks, you can be on your way to converting, and from there burning or watching your newly created DVD disc or file.

Instructions

Difficulty: Moderately Easy

Things You’ll Need:

  • VSO DivxToDVD
  • Divx video to convert

Step1
Run VSO DivxToDVD. Download and install the program if you have not done so already.
Step2
Click the "Source File's" folder icon, which is immediately beside the red "X," to bring up a new window. Browse to the folder that contains the Divx video you want to convert and double-click it.
Step3
Change the "Destination Folder" for the DVD files by clicking on the icon directly underneath the one you used in Step Two. Select the folder you wish to have the files placed in by highlighting it and clicking "Ok" at the bottom of the window.
Step4
Select the "Aspect" you want to force your converted DVD video to have by using the drop-down box. The default is Automatic.
Step5
Choose from PAL or NTSC formats by selecting the proper type from the "Standard" drop-down box. The default is Automatic.
Step6
Check the box beside "Burn with CopytoDVD," if you desire to burn the DVD to disc and have the optional program installed.
Step7
Click "Convert" and settle back while the program converts your Divx to DVD format.
