With pornography so prevalent today, more people, mostly men, become porn addicts. If you are determined to shed yourself of loser boyfriends like porn addicts, you need to be more self-aware. Here's how to stop dating porn addicts

1. Watch for signs and symptoms of a porn addict. If a guy you're interested in or your date constantly talks about porn and sex acts, refers to women only as sex objects, or uses crude language, there's a good chance he is probably is a porn addict.
2. Analyze why you are attracted to men who are porn addicts. Ask yourself if it was an aura of danger or the need to rehabilitate or save them from the addiction that appealed to you. Perhaps you feel that you couldn't attract a man who would treat you better. If you can determine why you attract porn or sex-addicted men, you can change your behavior.
3. Focus on yourself and your own needs and goals. Improve your self-image and concentrate on other areas of your life. When you do that, good men will be attracted to you. Desperation often causes women to choose the wrong men.
4. Leave at the first sign of problems. If you find a stash of nastier-than-average porn DVDs in his glove compartment, or if he ignores you to masturbate to a porn site on the computer, it's time to leave. Arguing with him is going to waste your time and it won't help him. Only therapy can accomplish that.
   
5. Admit you've made a mistake and move on. It can be hard to leave your boyfriend or a guy you've dated when you think about some of his good qualities. But porn addicts aren't going to change unless they want to. Until that time, get out of the picture for your own safety and sanity.
