How to Insert Graphics on MySpace

Finding the right graphics to add to your MySpace profile can be both fun and challenging. You can show the world who you are through a few quotes or sparkling cartoon characters. Follow these steps to find out how to add the graphics that best show your personality to your MySpace page.

Instructions

1. Find the graphic you want to add to your MySpace page. You can do this by searching for MySpace graphics in a search engine or by uploading your own images to a photo/graphic hosting site.

2. Look for an image source box, typically underneath or to the side of the graphic, and highlight the entire URL.

3. Copy the highlighted code by pressing "Control+C" or right-clicking and selecting "Copy."

4. Open a browser and log into MySpace using your sign-in email address and password. If you do not have a MySpace account you will need to create one.

5. Click on "Edit Profile."

6. Paste code, by pressing "Control+V" or right-clicking and selecting "paste," into the section where you want the graphic. For example, if you want your image underneath your favorite music list, paste the code at the bottom of the music section.

7. View your profile to see your new graphic. You can go back to the edit page to move it to a different section, delete it or add more images to make your MySpace profile stand out!

Tips & Warnings

• If you find a graphic that does not give you a code, right-click the image, select "Properties," highlight the URL, and copy and paste the code into any section in "Edit Profile."
