Instructions

-
1
Brag to all your friends about how extensive your sports knowledge is, and challenge them to a sports trivia game night at your house.
-
2
Purchase sports trivia question cards, or ask a noncompeting friend to use a sports almanac to develop a set of trivia questions.
-
-
3
Designate a point value for each question, depending on its difficulty. Establish rules for play and determine how many points a team needs to win the game.
-
4
Assign your guests to teams. Depending on how many people attend, teams of two, three or four players will work best.
-
5
Shuffle the question cards so that the point values and question content vary randomly. Make sure each team receives questions of equal point value over the course of a game.
-
6
Designate one person on each team to ask the questions. Set a time limit for the questions to be answered. If the first team gets a question right, they earn points. If not, the question moves on to the next team. Question askers should rotate each round until everyone has asked a question. Then, the rotation starts again.
-
7
Stop the game when a team reaches the designated point goal. That team is the winner. If you are not on the winning team, eat crow!

Tips & Warnings
To make this party fun, try to get at least 10 people to play. If you have an odd number, make one person the full-time question asker.
As the host, it's your duty to provide snacks and drinks. You can also ask players to bring their own to share.
